What the website audit covers
A website audit is a systematic overview of what is stopping your site from getting visitors and enquiries from Google. We do not look at a single number but at the whole chain: is the site findable at all, does it load fast enough, does it work on a phone, and does the visitor understand what is expected of them.
We go through five areas. Technical SEO — indexing, headings, metadata, internal linking, structured data and the errors that stop Google reading the site properly. Speed and Core Web Vitals — what slows the site down and what is realistic to fix. Mobile friendliness — how the site behaves on a phone, where most visitors come from today. Content and conversion — whether the texts match what people actually search for and whether the path to an enquiry is clear. Competitors — who is ahead of you on your core keywords and why.
What you actually get from the report
The report is not a printout from an automated tool that you could generate yourself anyway. Every finding comes with what it means in practice and how big its impact is. The list is in priority order: at the top are the few things that give the most result for the least effort.
For each point we note whether you can fix it yourself or whether a developer is needed. On most sites there are 3–5 fixes clients do themselves and a few that require code. We do not need you to order everything from us — an honest action plan is useful even if you carry it out with someone else.
The audit works for both WordPress and code-based sites
We review WordPress sites and code-based (React, Next.js) solutions the same way. On WordPress sites the most common findings are outdated plugins, bloated themes and the slowness that follows; on code-based sites it is more often indexing and structure issues.
If the audit shows that the site's foundation no longer holds up, we say so directly — together with an assessment of whether it is more sensible to fix the existing one or build a new one. Sometimes the right answer is “do not invest any more in this site”, and we will say that too.

Website audit — frequently asked questions
Is the website audit really free?
Yes. The audit is free and non-binding — you do not have to order or accept anything. We do it because most collaborations start with us looking at the site anyway; this way you see how we work before deciding.
How long does the audit take?
We send the report to your email within three business days. If the site is very large or multilingual, we will let you know if we need a couple of days more.
What is the difference between a website audit and an SEO audit?
An SEO audit looks only at search engine optimisation. A website audit is broader: alongside SEO we look at speed, mobile friendliness, content and whether the visitor reaches an enquiry. A site can have SEO in order and still get no enquiries — then the problem is elsewhere.
Do I need to prepare anything or grant access?
No. Your web address is enough. If you give us access to Google Search Console and Analytics we can make the audit more precise (we see real search queries and visitor behaviour), but it is not required.
Do you audit online stores too?
Yes. For an online store we additionally look at product page structure, category logic, the purchase journey and whether the products are visible in Google shopping results.
What happens after the audit?
You get the report and the action plan — the decision is yours. If you want us to carry out the fixes, we make a separate quote for that. If you want to do it yourself, the plan is concrete enough to work from.
