- Firewall and security
- Web server configuration

The server is the foundation your entire web solution rests on. If it is slow or unreliable, everything on top of it suffers — the site, the online store and the customer experience. A properly configured Linux server delivers speed, security and reliability.
We offer both the setup and configuration of a new server and the management and monitoring of an existing one. You do not need to be a server expert — we take care of it.
We configure the server in line with security requirements — firewall, access management and regular updates.
An optimised server and database mean your site stays up during a big campaign too, when hundreds of visitors arrive at once.
We watch the server's health around the clock and react to problems, often before you even notice them.
A well-configured server runs quietly in the background and never reminds you it is there. That is exactly the goal: stability you do not have to think about. We set up the security, optimise performance and the database and configure backups so every situation is covered. In practice that means your online store does not go down precisely when a big campaign brings hundreds of visitors at once.
Linux is the standard in the server world for a reason — it is reliable, flexible and secure. We use that advantage to the full, tailoring the environment exactly to your solution's needs.
Keeping a server running is continuous work: updates, security patches, monitoring and fast intervention when needed. Instead of you having to watch all of that, we take the responsibility on.
If something goes wrong you are not left alone in front of a technical fault — we have the overview and the skills to fix it fast so your site is disrupted for as short a time as possible.
A server is not just an operating system. On top of it run the web server (Nginx or Apache2), the database (PostgreSQL or MySQL/MariaDB), certificates, caching and often containers too. It is how these are configured together that decides whether a site loads fast or stays slow even on a powerful machine.
We set up and optimise the Nginx or Apache web server, tune database queries and memory use, and put HTTPS certificates in place with automatic renewal. If your application runs in Docker containers, we also configure the container environment and its update process so that deployment is repeatable and predictable.
A server is not home to a website alone. We also install and keep running Java application servers (Apache Tomcat) and search engines (Elasticsearch, OpenSearch) — these need their own memory, index and security configuration, quite different from that of an ordinary web server. Tell us what runs in your environment and we will look at whether we can take over its management.
Yes. We review the server's configuration, fix the security risks and take over management if needed.
It is. We configure and optimise the server for the expected load so it holds up at peak times too.
Automatic backups let us restore data and services quickly, so data loss is minimised.
Maintenance is the recurring work of keeping the server running: updates, security patches, checking backups and monitoring. Management is broader — alongside maintenance it also covers changing configurations, adding new services, optimising performance and taking responsibility for the environment working as a whole. Our management package includes both.
A one-off server installation and configuration starts at €290; ongoing management with round-the-clock monitoring is €99 a month. For multi-server environments with SLA requirements we make a separate quote.
For a new server we prefer Ubuntu — currently Ubuntu 26.04. Ubuntu is widely used, has long-term support and makes it easiest to keep the environment current and secure. We also manage Debian and the RHEL family (Rocky, AlmaLinux). If your server already runs on another distribution we will review it and tell you honestly whether we can take over management or whether migrating makes more sense.
Yes. VPS, dedicated server or cloud environment — the principle is the same: secure configuration, monitoring, backups and updates. A VPS suits most websites and online stores well, because it gives full control over the configuration for only a little more than shared hosting.
Yes. Server migration runs in prepared steps: we map the existing environment, build the new server, synchronise the data and make the final switch at the quietest time of day. The outage usually stays within minutes, and the old environment is kept as a fallback until the new one has proven itself.
Yes. If your application is containerised, we set up the Docker environment, the reverse proxy and the update process. Containers pay off above all when several services have to run on one machine, or when the development and production environments need to be identical.
We set up automatic backups that go to a location separate from the server — the server itself is not a backup. We agree how often a copy is taken and how long it is kept, and we test restoring from time to time. A backup that has never been restored is a promise, not a certainty.
