The book “Estonians in the Finnish and German Forces 1940–1945 (M–Y)”
Today another book produced by us went to print: Estonians in the Finnish and German Forces 1940–1945 (M–Y), volume 16, the sequel to the register volumes Estonians in the Finnish and German Forces 1940–1945 (A–J), volume 14, and (K–L), volume 15.
The content of “Estonians in the Finnish and German Forces 1940–1945” is a register of Estonians and their lives — people who served in the Finnish and German forces between 1940 and 1945. These are full records in a list of surnames covering the letters M–Y. The book contains 22,571 personal entries and runs to 794 pages.
Our lead contractor Raul Juurma was responsible for the entire book layout, tidying the register, statistical analysis of the processed data, photo editing and communication with the printing house.
One more book in the same series is in progress: it will bring together volumes 14, 15 and 16 as a supplemented collection with new entries.
Big jobs are ours to do.
